3 Parental Rights Bills Pass the House and Go onto the Senate

The following passed the House and go onto the Senate!

HB 542 Parental Rights of Conscience wrt Instruction

HB 429 Parental Rights to Remove 16yo from School

HB 329 Parental Notification for Abortions on Minors passed with a veto proof majority.

CACR 12 – relating to funding of public education -- passed with 3/5 vote.

This amendment proposes to eliminate local control of schools, which if adopted will likely have an adverse affect upon home schooling.

CACR 14 (the Senate's version of this same amendment) will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, March 22 at 1:30 pm in the State House Room 103.

These two bills failed to pass the House:

CACR 9 Parental Rights Amendment failed to get a 3/5 majority by 27 votes

HB 416 Parental Rights of Conscientious Exemption for Vaccines
